Councilmember Buscaino joins Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez and over 100 community leaders backing John Lee’s campaign for LA City Council District 12
San Fernando Valley, CA – Today, veteran LAPD Officer and Los Angeles City Councilmember Joe Buscaino endorsed John Lee’s candidacy for Los Angeles City Council District 12. In announcing his support, Councilmember Buscaino released the following statement:
I’m proud to endorse John Lee for Los Angeles City Council. John is a homegrown leader who grew up in the district, attended local public schools, and is raising his family there today. John understands his community, is dedicated, and experienced. He has built an impressive track record of delivering results on important issues like public safety, homelessness, improving city services, and expanding opportunities for youth. John is the best choice for City Council and will hit the ground running on day one.”
Councilmember Buscaino is the latest high profile figure to back Lee. He joins Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, Chair of the LA City Council Public Safety Committee, as well as an expansive bi-partisan coalition of over 100 community leaders that includes neighborhood leaders, educators, parents, public safety leaders, and local small business owners backing Lee.
